World Championship 
Slow Pipe Smoking

Dear pipe smokers,

​On behalf of the Dutch Federation for Pipe-smokers (NFP), I am very pleased to invite you for the fourth time (after 1952 Purmerend; 1993 Noordwijkerhout; 2011 Eindhoven) to The Netherlands for participating in the World Championship Pipe SLOW Smoking.

Given the difficulties pipe smokers all over the world are encountering, we are very happy to be able to organize this event again, although given Dutch legislation it is not an easy task.

Nevertheless we succeeded to get the green light for deploying the World Championship on a private estate, which exact location will be revealed later. The event will be established in the proximity of the historic city of Oirschot near the city of Eindhoven.

On this website you will find information regarding nearby accommodation, travel possibilities including airports and train connections. Given the enclosed nature of the event, transportation to the venue will be organised and is included in the price.

Therefore, to have optimal control on logistics and finances, it is MANDATORY that competition fees, as well as gala-dinner are paid in advance by bank transfer. Cash payment during registration is NOT POSSIBLE and only a few exceptions will be allowed when bank transfers are not possible due to geographical or political circumstances.
